In Part 4 of this ‘Introduction to the Rapture,’ we wrap up this case study we’ve had with 2 Thess. 2:1-12 where Paul has tried to clear up some confusion concerning the Rapture and ‘the day of the Lord.’ This lesson shows how Paul teaches these Thessalonian believers that they could be assured of a certain destiny, and they would be preserved against judgment.  Both of these points build on the primary truth that church-age believers will be taken out of this world at the Rapture (the starting point of the ‘day of the Lord’). Therefore, they should not expect to find themselves experiencing God’s judgment and wrath.
