The Rise of the Antichrist, Part 9 · Steve Schmutzer · Study Series
In this lesson, we stay in Daniel Ch. 11, and we see in vs. 38 that there is a shift in describing the antichrist. In this verse, we discover that the antichrist – at least in the early phases of his career – has his own system of worship that he sets up. He has his own “god” that he gives honor to, and it appears to be a “god” that is exceptional in various ways to all others. We discover this passage suggests a unique occultic element, one that is also alluded to in other parts of God’s Word.
