With this lesson, we return to our primary Sunday morning study in “1 & 2 Thessalonians: Faithful Endurance in One Direction,” and we now move into Chapter 2 of 1 Thessalonians. Paul describes the ways a genuine, God-honoring ministry is recognized. It’s not about numbers, dollars, buildings, or programs. Rather, a true ministry is measured by God’s standards. It is characterized by righteous motives based on Biblical integrity, boldness in the face of opposition, perseverance under diverse trials, and an unwavering commitment to honor God rather than to please man.
